UFC 93 Main Event Between Rich Franklin and Dan Henderson: Early on, Henderson dropped Franklin with a serious right hand and unleashed some ground and pound on him. Franklin, however, weathered the storm enough to get to his feet and connect with several shots in spots, particularly kicks to the body, until the bell. Franklin started out the second stanza doing quite well with his hands and feet before being taken down by his adversary. From there, Henderson connected with several hard elbows that gained him points.
The last stanza saw Franklin come through on his feet against his opponent. But it wasn’t enough, as Henderson took home a split decision victory in an outstanding back and forth tussle.
