Martin Kampmann defeats Carlos Condit by split decision in the main event: Kampmann managed several valid guillotine choke attempts on Condit throughout the fight. Though none of these achieved the desired effect, they all cumulatively gained him points. Condit, who was given more submission props than his adversary coming in, did almost come up with a rear naked choke in the second round and a guillotine choke to close out the night. He also did pretty well on his feet, opening up a first round cut on his adversary with a knee during the first round. But in the end, Kampmann's ability to control Condit in the third round with takedowns and ground and pound was probably the difference.
