Martial Arts Master Arrested for Secretly Video Taping Students and Employees
Sunday May 31, 2009
On Friday, Connecticut police arrested a martial arts master with self-defense studios in Guilford and Branford, charging him with voyeurism and risk of injury to a minor. In the end, the police assert that Joseph Moscatelli, 43, video taped employees and students without their knowledge. The police apparently caught wind of the situation when someone called them with evidence. During the course of the investigation, it has been reported that several videos were discovered Thursday night of employees and students undressing at the United Studios of Self Defense in Guilford.

An interesting back story is United Studios of Self Defense had 2 other molestation cases, One in Irvine CA and the other in Costa Mesa CA. Actually one other happened in Huntington Beach CA but for some reason it did not make the news. A previous instructor in Villa Park CA put one on the VP’s child in the trunk of a car to punish him. He was not in great shape when the child was released. This is just a snippet of poor leadership USSD has done over the years. I have a million stories.
I gotta say it sickens me every time i hear these stories about so called “Leaders” in the Martial Arts making the true leaders look bad. I’ve been in the arts for over 25 years, and if I was ever to even hear about one of my peers doing anything like this, there deffinatly will be some “Dojo Justice”.
yay for dojo justice!!!
