Johny Hendricks vs. Martin Kampmann Results - Coming into his
UFC 154 match up against Martin Kampmann, Hendricks had consecutively defeated Mike Pierce,
Jon Fitch, and Josh Koscheck. Talk about a guy with
wrestling credentials. Beyond the fact that he had defeated three high level wrestlers in a row in the UFC was that college wrestling career of his- you know, the one where he became a four time All American and two time national champion (out of Oklahoma State University). On the flip side, Kampmann is just about as well-rounded as fighters come. What's more, the welterweight contender had made two consecutive huge comebacks against upper level competition in
Thiago Alves and
Jake Ellenberger recently.

Early in round one, Hendricks came forward and landed multiple grazing left hands. Then came a big right-left combination that ended Kampmann's night. That left really did the job. Wow! Hendricks is the next welterweight contender. That’s it, folks.
