Stephan Kesting Bio

Stephan Kesting has had over 20 articles published in acclaimed magazines like Black Belt, Ultimate Grappling, Tapout, and Ultimate Athlete, and runs the Grapplearts.com and BeginningBJJ.com websites. He holds a black belt in both Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Kajukenbo Karate, and is an instructor in Erik Paulson's Combat Submission Wrestling and Dan Inosanto's Jun Fan JKD, Maphalindo Silat, and Filipino Martial Arts program. Beyond that, Kesting has studied several other martial arts styles including Japanese Judo, Russian Sambo, Kung Fu, Brazilian Capoeira, and Muay Thai Kickboxing.
