St. Pierre defeats Carlos Condit by unanimous decision:
St. Pierre came back from an ACL injury and a roundhouse kick that dropped him in round three to win this one. He showed a tremendous amount of heart, toughness, and skill to control this bout considering the background story.
St. Pierre defeats Jake Shields by unanimous decision:
Not St. Pierre's most impressive performance. That said, he stuffed takedowns
all night long and clearly won a decision on his feet, despite vision problems with his left eye during the bout.
St. Pierre defeats Josh Koscheck by unanimous decision:
The bottom line is that St. Pierre tore Koscheck up with his newfound jab in this one. You could tell the winner at the end easily here, just by looking at Koscheck's battered eye and bruised face.
St. Pierre defeats Dan Hardy by unanimous decision:
Most expected the champ to stop Hardy. He certainly tried to with multiple valid armbar
attempts. Hardy, though dominated via takedowns and positioning, managed to persevere to the end.
St. Pierre defeats Thiago Alves by unanimous decision:
Alves could not stop St. Pierre's takedowns, and that was the story on the fight.
St. Pierre defeats BJ Penn by TKO after round four:
Absolute domination. St. Pierre continually took Penn down and pounded on him hard. His opponent, an MMA legend, showed a lot of toughness. But in the end, this was simply a spot for St. Pierre to prove how much he had improved since these two last scrapped.
August 9, 2008 at UFC 87: St. Pierre defeats Jon FitchSt. Pierre defeats Jon Fitch by unanimous decision:
Fitch was game. But St. Pierre beat him up everywhere in this fight, hurting him more than once en-route to a clear decision victory.
April 19, 2008 at UFC 83: St. Pierre defeats Matt SerraSt. Pierre defeats Matt Serra by TKO at 4:45 of round two: The first time these two fought, things ended in one of the greatest MMA upsets of all-time, with Serra defeating the champ by TKO. This time, St. Pierre put his opponent on his back early and often, pounding away at him mercilessly. Knees to the ribs and more eventually caused the referee to step in.
December 29, 2007 at UFC 79: St. Pierre defeats Matt HughesSt. Pierre defeats Matt Hughes by armbar at 4:54 of round two:
This is the win that closed the book on St. Pierre's storied rivalry with Hughes. With the rather dominant win, St. Pierre won the trilogy.
August 25, 2007 at UFC 74: St. Pierre defeats Josh KoscheckSt. Pierre defeats Josh Koscheck by unanimous decision:
Some might argue that this was St. Pierre's most impressive win because of the way he achieved it. Simply put, the Canadian champion dominated Koscheck, a former collegiate national champion wrestler, with his wrestling. One word- wow!
