Pat Barry is an awesome kickboxer. Christian Morecraft is six-foot-six, talented, and a good grappler. So without further ado, here's how things went down between the two at the UFC on FOX 1.
Early on, Morecraft threw some punches and then caught a Barry kick, using it to take him down. From there, Morecraft started looking for the choke from the mount. However, Barry defended and then got up. Seconds later, Barry landed a couple of very hard jabs and low kicks. After another jab, Barry defended a takedown and began looking for a standing guillotine. Instead, Morecraft got out and took him down. After some ground and pound, Morecraft took Barry's back and nearly snapped his arm in half after transitioning to an armbar. However, Barry toughed it out and then escaped. Then came a hard jab. And then....
Well, Barry landed a huge left hook that dropped his opponent. A couple of very hard punches on the ground later and Morecraft was unconscious.
