Coming into his UFC on FX 1 bout, Duane "Bang" Ludwig was known as an upper level Muay Thai kickboxer. Josh Neer, on the other hand, was known as one of the tougher guys in the sport. Who would win out?Only one way to find out. Get ready, get set, go!
Ludwig landed a hard right hand early on that dizzied Neer. Soon after, the two clinched, with Neer pressing his opponent into the cage. Ludwig hit home with a hard knee. Upon a separation, Neer connected with a jab. But then Ludwig nailed his adversary with a very hard knee to the body. Lots of strikes coming from both competitors, but Ludwig is clearly winning out. When they engaged inside, Ludwig landed some hard knees before Neer secured a leg and eventually took him down. As Ludwig attempted to come to his feet, Neer sunk in a guillotine choke.
Moments later, the referee grabbed Ludwig's limp arm and stepped in.
