Coming into their UFC 135 bout, Travis Browne was known as an amazingly agile big man. Rob Broughton, on the other hand, was considered to be a pretty dangerous guy on the canvas. Was that the whole story? Heck no. Here's how it went down.

Browne nailed Broughton with a very solid leg kick early on. Broughton managed to avoid a few big time right hands from his adversary before forcing the clinch. However, Browne won the dirty boxing stuff before separation. From there, Browne began using his legs effectively, nailing Broughton with multiple leg kicks. Soon after, he connected with a solid right hand coming forward aggressively. Basically, Browne landed strikes in spots on his adversary, including a huge left, until toward the end of the stanza when he took Broughton down. After some ground and pound, he ran out of time.

Round one goes to Browne.

The second round saw Browne land a very hard flurry on his opponent that Broughton somehow persevered through. In addition, Browne landed some nice strikes from a distance. When Broughton attempted to fall to his back with a guillotine choke and failed, Browne mounted him and demonstrated some pretty solid ground and pound until the bell.

Broughton needs a stoppage in order to win. That said, by the end of the stanza, Browne was sucking wind.

The third round saw Broughton come out aggressively, crowding his opponent and throwing lots of strikes. This eventually led to Browne taking him down. Broughton moved to half guard. Eventually, however, Browne moved to the mount position again. Positions changed from there, and Broughton nearly pulled off a kimura attempt. That said, it was a pretty uneventful final round, one where Browne certainly left a fatigued winner.

Travis Browne defeats Rob Broughton by unanimous decision.
