Lots of talk coming into the UFC 135 bout between Jon Jones and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. But in the end, it all comes down to a fight in the cage. Here's what happened there.

Early on, Jones started the fight on all fours. Weird stuff. Jones came inside and clinched, which allowed Rampage to hit home with a knee. Jones then pressed him up against the cage, where he landed several knees to the legs and body. Rampage turned things around, but Jones grabbed his head, which caused them to change positions again. Jones grazed with a hard elbow. After a lull, the two separated. Jones connected with a front kick to the body. Later, the champion hit home with a nice low kick. Then the two clinched in the middle of the cage before a separation. Nice knee kick by Jones. Then a solid leg kick. Sharp left hand to the face by the champion. Another couple of low kicks hit home. They clinched again; Jones pressed Rampage up against the wall. A spinning back elbow from Jones landed. Jackson grazed with a left hand. Lots of big punches at the end of the stanza that missed from Rampage.

Jones takes round one.

A mild low kick from Jones landed at the start of round two. Jackson came forward aggressively, grazing with some punches before another clinch occurred. Jones tried another spinning back elbow that Rampage ducked under and attempted a takedown off of. Didn't work. Upon separation, Jones started connecting with low and body kicks. Solid left hand from Jones. And basically, up until the end of the round, Jones hit home with solid kicks from a distance. At the tail end of the stanza, the champion pulled guard and sunk in a flying triangle that only the bell seemed to save Rampage from.

Jones is up 2-0.

Rampage landed a couple of solid low kicks early in round three. Jones then answered over time with those low and body kicks of his. Soon after, he shot in and achieved a takedown. After some ground and pound, Jackson exploded to his feet. That said, Jones kept chipping away from the outside, nailing Jackson with a really solid side kick to the knee (he's been using it all day). Rampage did land a left hand, but Jones generally broke him down all stanza long. At the end of the round, Jones shot in for a takedown and stood up, throwing Jackson to the ground after the bell. Not a real classy move.

Round four saw Jones connect with a left hand, then achieve a takedown. From there, he eventually snaked around to Jackson's back and sunk in the rear naked choke.

Jon Jones defeats Quinton "Rampage" Jackson by rear naked choke at 1:14 of round four.
