Attention all capoeira practitioners....today was the start of a capoeira conference on Capitol Hill in the Seattle area. That's right, from September 2-5, practitioners of this dance-like martial arts style will come together at Silvio Dos Reis and Leika Suzumura's studio, which will be hosted by the aforementioned as well as the International Capoeira Angola Foundation.
Martial artists from countries like Brazil (where capoeira was founded) as well as Japan, Italy, and the United States will attend. See below for more information.

Special Guests for the conference include: Mestre Jurandir. Mestre Cobra Mansa, Mestre Valmir, Mestre Índio, Treinel Andrea from Oakland and Aloan from FICA BAHIA.
