Boxer/MMA fighter KJ Noons came in .25 pounds overweight yesterday for his match up with Jorge Gurgel at Strikeforce: Houston tonight. In addition, Rocky Long came in .25 pounds overweight for his fight with Vinicius "Draculino" Magalhães, and Chad Robichaux weighed in one pound over for his fight.
Gurgel quickly waived off Noons' .25 pounds; Magalhaes accepted his bout at a catchweight; and Humberto DeLeon cleared Robichaux's weight difference. In other words, the fights will go on, even if you've got to be concerned with three fighters missing weight for the event.
