You usually don't read about connections between television shows like Nightly Business Report and the sport of mixed martial arts. But the term usually isn't what this article is about. Along with this, Mykalai Kontilai, a former mixed martial arts manager who once represented Tito Ortiz, heads a private company that has acquired Nightly Business Report from WPBT-TV in Miami.
Beyond MMA, Kontilai is also known for being a distributor of instructional television programs. Nightly Business Report, by some measures, may be the most watched business newscast in the entire nation. It airs on PBS.
