Zuffa Accuses Ken Pavia Of Giving Contract Information To Bellator

Zuffa is the parent company of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).  In a lawsuit filed today, they have accused MMA agent Ken Pavia of illegally passing on confidential contract information to Bellator Fighting Championships, according to Yahoo Sports columnist Kevin Iole.  In more formal legal terms, we're talking about alleged theft of trade secrets here, folks.

Pavia is the founder of MMA Agents, and his agency is one of the most influential in MMA.  Along with this, he represents over 50 fighters, many of whom fight for Bellator and the UFC.  Both Pavia and Bellator are named as defendants in the suit.  Zuffa claims reportedly point to email conversations between Pavia and Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney as evidence.

Lots of legal action lately on the UFC/Zuffa's part.
