Vitor Belfort has better hands than Anderson Silva. That's right, I said it. Now does he kick better? No. Is his clinch in the same hemisphere? Nope. But in the end, when is the last time that you could say that a possible Silva opponent would be better than him in any part of the striking game?
That's why Vitor Belfort should get the next shot at Anderson Silva's middleweight belt. There's the chance for something different.
"To be honest with you, the way the last two fights happened with Marquardt and Henderson against Anderson Silva, I think it would be better to see them fight each other, and the winner of that become the next contender," Dana White said after UFC 103. "I think Vitor is ready to fight Anderson Silva (now)."
It's hard to argue. Dan Henderson and Nate Marquardt are valid middleweight contenders. But they've both already lost to Silva. Belfort, on the other hand, hasn't. Why not give a man that has destroyed Rich Franklin and Matt Lindland in consecutive bouts a shot at the greatest middleweight in UFC history?
Dana White and the UFC should make this bout happen.

Vitor and Silva is gonna be a really good fight but I no Silva is gonna Knock him out, the only reason Vitor beat Franklin so fast is because Franklin slipped and Vitor capitalized on it.
