UFC lightweight fighter Tyson Griffin has engaged in his share of outstanding fights throughout his MMA career. But one of the reasons why those fights have been so good is that no one got stopped, allowing the back and forth affairs to continue without interruption. This has made a lot of people question his ability to finish fights.
Not anymore.
In the first round of Griffin's fight against Hermes Franca at UFC 103, he landed devastating leg kick after devastating leg kick on Franca, clearly hoping to mess with his opponent's ability to shoot (Franca is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt). In the second, soon after an awesome exchange where both fighters landed solid strikes, Griffin connected with a right that dropped his adversary. From there, he unleashed a vicious onslaught of punches that eventually left Franca too stunned on the ground to continue and Griffin with a victory.
Tyson Griffin wins by way of TKO at 3:26 of round two.
