WEC 43 had been slated for September 2, but then Ben Henderson got injured. So instead of finding a replacement for him against Donald Cerrone, the organization decided to give Henderson time to heal and postponed the event until October 10. Now, instead of having the event in Youngstown, Ohio as was previously indicated, WEC 43 will go down at AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Lots of change, for sure. Still, I like the WEC's idea to change the time instead of putting a fighter in there that few would've been interested in seeing take on Cerrone. Unfortunately for Ohio, they got the short end of the stick on this one.
