Bobby Lashley vs. Bob Sapp on June 27 in Mississippi

As first reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, former WWE pro wrestling star Bobby Lashley will battle it out with former PRIDE competitor Bob Sapp on June 27 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Lashley has been victorious in his only two MMA bouts. In his last fight, he defeated Jason Guida at "March Badness" in Florida by controlling the fight with the wrestling skills that once made him a two-time NAIA national champion. Bob Sapp is a huge former NFL offensive lineman with a 10-3-1 overall MMA record and strong kickboxing background. He is coming off of a much needed TKO victory in his last bout against Akihito Tanaka after being dominated by Jan Nortje in the fight previous.

The event will be a co-promotion between Fight Force International and Prize Fight Promotions and will likely be televised on PPV.
