Chael Sonnen vs. Demian Maia at UFC 95

Wrestling standout Chael Sonnen will take on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu wizard Demian Maia at UFC 95. The bout is already signed and will go down at the O2 Arena in London, England in 2009.

Sonnen is coming off of an easy and rather impressive victory over Paulo Filho. His move from the WEC to the UFC was necessitated by the decision to drop the WEC middleweight and light heavyweight divisions in order to focus on the lower weight classes. Maia is coming off of consecutive victories over Ed Herman, Jason MacDonald, and Nate Quarry. He is a submission dynamo.

UFC 95 is shaping up to be a nice card, with Diego Sanchez vs. Joe Stevenson slated to also take place at the event.
